About the Position.

• Be the go-to when handling the in-house claims and work with the claims team from beginning to resolution with proper documentation and resolution.
• Majority of the claims will be auto & trucking, but will also have property and casualty.
• Responsible for working with customers in the investigation, negotiation and resolution of primarily non-injury first and third party auto claims.
• Provides customer assistance and education regarding the claim process.
• This individual must also have excellent communication skills to properly and timely set customer expectations and the ability to explain applicable laws and coverages.

Job Qualifications:

• 1-2 years claims handling experience
• Understanding of the applicable Unfair Claims Practice Act
• Knowledge of the state traffic rules and regulations
• Understanding of policy coverage and interpretation
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and computer skills
• Strong customer service skills and a desire to help others
