About the Role
In this hybrid role, you'll handle the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of property loss claims. You will:
- Evaluate, document, and organize claim records to support payment
- Conduct a thorough investigation of coverage, liability and damages and maintain supporting evidence
- Audit mitigation and repair estimates
- Negotiate claim to a fair resolution
- Conduct risk analysis for home safety standards
- Manage costs in association with all aspects of recovery, as well as loss adjustment expenses
A professional demeanor, ability to communicate clearly, and a self-motivated attitude will be key to success in this role.
Required qualifications include:
- College degree OR equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of property damage estimating, home construction, and standard home and dwelling insurance
- Experience handling property claims and property loss estimates
